The Jazzwomen, founded in 2023 by drummer Kim Peralta, aim to support and promote women in jazz.
members include Seasoned, women jazz artists from upstate NY, New Jersey and NYC who have played for many years in performing arts centers., libraries and NYC jazz venues.
Appearing mostly in quartets and trios, the Jazzwomen delight and inspire wherever they go, offering renditions of time-honored swing, bebop and latin jazz classics, Broadway show tunes, works by pioneer women jazz composers and original pieces by their own members.
Audiences can expect a spirited performance delivered with soul and fire!
